Bexhill Heritage was formed in October 2017 when many of our founding members were concerned with the deterioration of East Parade’s seafront shelters. We are an independent, voluntary organization that aims to improve Bexhill-on-Sea’s built environment and celebrate the town’s rich heritage. The organisation works to identify, protect, conserve, and restore heritage buildings and other structures in Bexhill.
Bexhill Heritage hosts various events and activities throughout the year at the Coronation Bandstand on East Parade. We also meet regularly to discuss local heritage issues and the planned work of the charity.
We maintain independence from the District and Town Council, while welcoming their support to further our charitable goals.
